		<description>Hi Luke, thanks for your comment. I guess what inspires us to surf is simple - how can you not surf? Once you experience that feeling of gliding across the face of a wave, you dream about the next chance you&#039;ll get to live that feeling again. 

As far as idols go, I can&#039;t honestly say I have any idols but anyone who charges on 20+ foot waves deserves massive respect in ur books. Guys like Laird Hamilton are inspirational in their innovative and ballsy approach to surfing - nothing is ever left at the door, they just seem to give everything they&#039;ve got.

Now if I couldn&#039;t surf again, I think I&#039;d have to move to the mountains......</description>
